When making a decision, each of the alternatives must be rated on each of the lowest level criteria. These are called ratings and the way they are used is similar to the way weights are used. Rating rulers, represented by a icon, are used for specifying ratings. Note that rating rulers may only be created for criteria with no sub-criteria. You must first delete the sub-criteria in a criteria folder if you wish to create a rating ruler.
In Tetra GDM each decision maker creates their own rating rulers to specify their ratings, and the combination of all these ratings are used when computing overall scores.
This section contains subsections on Working with Rating Rulers, Specifying Ratings, Viewing Ratings and Reference Ratings.
